We believe positive change starts with the food we eat and the food we feed our pets. That’s why we source whole, fresh meats from local regenerative farmers to make our incredibly yummy and nutritious dog treats. Regenerative agriculture is beyond sustainable – land increases in diversity and vitality through the mindful cultivation of healthy ecosystems. Thriving, happy animals and plants are more nutrient dense and wholesome. This is how humans and their canine companions ate for thousands of years. It wasn’t exotic, or a luxury, or even a specialty food. It was just food. Our slogan is The Little Cracker that Could because we know optimal pet health is best accomplished paw-in-hand with earth repair.

A Little About Us

Affables’ Snacks founders Samantha Chrysanthou and Darwin Wiggett are passionate about food, pets, the arts and the environment. Combined, they have had numerous careers including lawyer, research biologist, animal care specialist, magazine columnist, magazine editors, nature photographers, photography instructors and creativity mentors.

Their journey into dog food and health began with their rescue pup, Brando, who suffered from arthritis and allergies. The more they researched supporting Brando, the more they realized not all dogs thrive on highly-processed commercial kibble (no matter how many vitamins are added back into the bag).

To make a long story short, when they discovered regenerative agriculture, they found the antidote to contemporary destructive agricultural practices and a path forward to earth repair and optimal pet and human health. Their dog Affables (Affie, for short) inspires them every day to share their message of hope with other devoted nature and animal lovers.
